Description
Australian Nut English Bridle Half-Butts 3.5-4mm/9-10 oz
I often see English Bridle listed as “English Bridle” in the US and have always wondered why it’s in quotes. When we found a source of real bridle, the quotes made a lot more sense. True English Bridle is very different from “English Bridle.” The former is cut from the butt of the hide and does not extend to the shoulders or the belly. The hide is 100% usable for belts, pet collars, or any strap you need to be sturdy and resist stretching. The hand-worked tallow wax finish and the robust 4mm thickness give this leather a heft you will not find in typical “English Bridle.”
These Bridle Half-Butts are approximately 60” long by 24” wide and 3.5-4mm (9-10 oz) thick.
