Description

Edge Slickers are used to hand burnish vegetable tanned leather edges. Their hardwood makeup provides a durable surface to create more consistently shaped rounding. The different rungs on the slicker accommodate different thicknesses of leather.

The round version is a more heavy duty slicker and the flat version doubles as a wood folder.

These tools are made from SKD11 (D2) steel that is masterfully hardened to 60 Rockwell and shaped to its final dimensions. The semi-stainless finish and higher hardness ensure better wear and retention of sharp edges.
