This week’s Customer Creations post includes an assortment of handmade wallets and card wallets constructed by some of our truly gifted customers and readers. Included are a beautiful themed wallet with edges made smooth by the help of our edge paint roller, a simple, but elegant two-tone card holder, and some colorful Corgi wallets stitched with Lin cable!

This is my 1st visit to the blog, I am impressed with the workmanship of these young leather workers! They are doing professional level jobs on their wallets and card cases, in my opinion.
After over 50 years of hiatus as a leather braider, I am presently getting into the actual layout and construction of leather goods, the likes of which are pictured here. And blogs and photo ops of other people’s work does nothing but encourage me more and more to learn and polish my skills to reach that level of craftsmanship. As a wise leather crafter once said, and I paraphrase his wise words, “The path to reach perfection IS perfection in itself”. [Thanks Phil, I will always be thinking of that on my journey to perfection.] To learn the proper method of most anything, one has to make mistakes along the way. With that in mind, I may work up the courage to post a bit of my endeavors in a future blog.

Thanks for the insightful comment! I absolutely agree – the path to perfection is perfection in itself. Wise words. Feel free to share some of your work with us via email. I’d love to see!
